Chondroitin Sulphate: Assay: ≥90% HPLC Source: Cartilage of bovine, porcine, chicken or shark Appearance: White to off-white powder |
Chondroitin sulfate is present in all living organisms from nematodes to humans except for plants, plays many important physiological functions. Although the polysaccharide backbone structure is not complicated, but on the degree of sulfation, sulfate groups and two differences uronate to distributed heterogeneous in terms of longer chain, showing a high degree of heterogeneity. Chondroitin sulfate fine structure determines the specificity and the interaction of various proteins with the function of the molecule.
